Fertilizing confusion

As a novice gardener several of the fertilizer posts I've read have gone over my head. I could use advice or a link to some more basic fertilizer information that categorizes by stage of plant and/or veggie/herb plant type. Anyone have this?

I'm having trouble figuring out which each needs, specific to stage of growth and type of plant. Also, dry plant food vs. liquid fertilizer vs fish emulsion vs compost tea.

Local nursery sells this but not sure if it's good or not :

I am in zone 9b and have:

- squash/pea/cucumber seeds I direct sowed days ago (only planted in: Bumper Crop® Organic Soil Amendment A blend of composted fir bark and forest humus fortified with 15% chicken manure, worm castings, bat guano and kelp meal. pH balanced with dolomite and oyster shell lime.)

- month old herb transplants ( planted in above medium and received 1/4 chicken manure when transplanting because I wasn't paying attention to the fact that it already had chicken manure in mix)

- fruiting tomato plants (planted in Potting Soil An excellent, ready-to-use organic mixture contains fir bark, Canadian peat moss, horticultural sand, mushroom compost and a wetting agent. plus received 1 Tbsp plant food below and 1/5 chicken manure when transplanting)

I have this tomato/veg plant food:

The well-aged chicken manure I purchased:
