Hello to all,

This year I decided to order lisianthus plugs for cut flowers. They didn't arrive on our farm until May, then I transplanted and put them in our greenhouse for a couple more weeks. I wasn't able to plant them until June 10th, its really late but better then nothing. We currently have our lisianthus on white plastic under our caterpillar tunnel with shade cloth. We are growing mostly all ABC varieties. The other day I noticed small little buds were forming on the top of the plant, I became a little nervous because my plants are only 5 or 6 inches tall. Should I pick the buds off to encourage the plant to continue growing? Id like to promote long stems for cut flowers if possible, any advice on what I can do?
