Thats not a ghost. It looks like a Orange Manzano plant. Leaves look right too and the pods look right.
Are the flowers a purple color?

If it is, Orange Manzano has great taste, are cold weather resistant and not super hot to kill the taste buds. They do grow better in half day sun I noticed.

Wow, I think you're right (after googling manzanita)! Thanks! Flowers are purple... and think I do recall the seeds being dark. You really know your peppers! I do remember the color being red, so maybe it's a red manzano? Guess we'll know when they ripen! Thought this pepper was super hot - can't imagine an actual ghost!

LOL. Manzanita is a totally different thing. Fruit used on those are for poison oak rash (I looked it up).

Hopefully it is the reds. I think the reds are a little sweeter but still as hot. That fruit is harder to find as the orange can be found in any mex store.
