The paint brand used was Benjamin Moore and I believe the color was "Cabernet". It's actually much darker than this photo represents (with overhead lights and floor lamp affecting the way the color looks). Never assume a paint color will look the same in your own space - always test it out on the walls first by painting a big swatch and seeing how it looks at different times of the day and with the room's natural light.
