Got an opener with stripped gear. Installed new gear. Opener will only travel down 2" and than retract fully to stop. The push button is not wired up. Am using remote. I can manually jump connector 1 and 2 and opener will open fully. Is this a bad "force" function on board? Prior owner said it worked fine till gear stripped.
