R U keeping the yellow sink and yellow fan? What are the counters like?

No, all appliances will be stainless, white farmhouse sink, white wood mantel range hood, island is very pale gray/blue ( BM quiet moments) and counters will either be Snow White granite or sea pearl ( more green/grey undertones). Would like a coastal cottage look. Thanks a bunch!

Agreed on the recessed lighting throughout the kitchen, but limit the size and quantity. seperate the one over the sink from the rest due to function. But put the under cabinet lighting in LED tape.

Also remember to keep the light color at 3000 Kelvin or lower to keep things from becoming to sterile and blue. The lower the Kelvin rating to warmer the color tone.

Ok great! I liked the idea of recessed. How many approximately and what type of lighting in the area where the banquette is? Chandelier? Pendant? If anyone can post some examples, that would be awesome! Thanks!!

Banquette lights: almost anything as long as it repeats the white of cabinets and/or the silver faucet/hardware.

Below R 2 unusual selections. My decorator suggested ALL recessed lighting in the kitchen. That makes one less item to clean (chandelier/pendant) + you can move the kitchen table to different places.
