Frozen rose seeds

I stratified my rose seeds in a covered flat of moist potting soil in our spare fridge. When I took them out... the flat was frozen. How bad is it that the fridge allowed the flat to freeze? The flat had about 20 rose seeds and some clematis seeds. Are they ruined?

I once used seeds that had been saved in the freezer for a couple of years. They germinated just fine. In nature the seeds are often frozen over the winter before sprouting in the spring. Plant them and see!
