Hardwood vs Carpet. I am at a point that my carpeted bedrooms need to be redone. Whats the current trend and what makes sense to install, Carpet or Hardwood? Taking into consideration, I do not have small children, I plan on selling in 5 years, I have a dog. From a design aspect, I have hardwood on the first floor along with travertine in the kitchen. The hallway upstairs and steps going to the second floor (where of course the bedrooms- 4 are) is already done in hardwood. With so many choices but is my best option?
