Nice! Its 'will-to-survive' may cause it to perform quite well.

We'll see - it's definitely one of those extra plants though you try to find room for, I consider anything I get from it a bonus.

On one of my KB the main got broken off during plant out.
It compensated by growing 3 branches. As a result it is bushy and looks like a determinant. The other one is quite tall/leggy.
I think I have learned how to grow an indet like a det. TOP THE MAIN VERY EARLY ON !

My Sungolds and Golden Raves also grew into wide bushy plants with many stems. They are a good 6 feet across. I think it is because I removed so many lower leaves damaged by transplanting. Any pruning seems to me to encourage suckers. But I wouldnt call them determinates.... they are still nearly 6 feet tall already and you can literally sit and watch them grow. I can see the value on pruning suckers, for a more vertical plant, in many spaces I think this is better as there is more room between plants and the leaves shade each other less. I think next year I will try a little sucker pruning on some plants and see how it affects production for me.
