Both my clivia are in bloom. I guess this is payment for getting them out of the house after a long hard winter and giving them some fresh air and good sunlight.

These plants were given to me as small seedlings years ago. The one on the left has never given me a single "pup". The one on the right has produced 6 over the years, and has 4 more ready to be taken off. You can see one between the blooms. A third seedling from the same parent never managed to get blooms to rise out of the leaf axials, and was discarded after numerous attempts. Ain't genetics great.
