LSU Fig Field day returns Saturday July 11th 2015 from 9:00am till 12:00 at Burden Field located at 4560 Esson Lane Baton Rouge Louisiana. You shouldn't miss this as it could be the last one ever. This event hosted by LSU, Dr. Charlie Johnson and his staff consists of a brief discussion on figs followed by a Q&A, fig tasting and walking around viewing the LSU Fig trees. This is an excellent opportunity to meet others that share your love of figs and make new friends. Looking for that hard to get variety then this is the place to meet that contact for cuttings. Afterwards we will be eating lunch at Picadilly just a few blocks down Esson Lane. For those early birds we will be eating breakfast at 0715 - 0830 at the McDonalds right beside the Picadilly restaurant.
