That articular plant -- at least what I can see of it -- appears to be a water shortage.
The area of the original roots dries out very rapidly.
Pre-soak before planting. Plant into slightly moist potting mix.
Then follow-up daily watering to the rootball for a week or so.
Then gradually increase the interval between waterings as the roots grow into the surrounding potting mix.
