Carol, I love those! My veggie garden needs a lot of TLC and it is just too hot for me to care about giving it that TLC right now.

I planted an old hollow tree stump in Fort Worth in the 1980s and loved it, and it did take it years and years and years to decay and rot away.

Sorie, it has lots of different things, petunia, sweet potato vine, rose moss, marigolds, coleus and other things I don't remember. It is mostly leftovers from other projects and a few things I picked up on sale at the nursery north of Sailboat Bridge on Monday. The method to my madness is to keep everything in place as things start to break down because I will plant vegetables there next year. My yard and garden are a mess this year because I was gone so much the last two summers. I hope by the end of the summer I will have it back in shape, but my energy seems to lag when the heat increases. It has nothing to do with my age.....LOL.
