It looks rather comfortable and well fed Collin!

No rabbit or hare issues for me in our back yard as I have dogs, which seem to scare most critters away. Drawback is the dogs often trample over plants in their hunt, or mark.

Speaking of comfortable, I have rabbits lying on their backs and rubbing
around in the dirt like a dog scratching an itch. Then they fall
asleep, sometimes strung out like a dog instead of their huddled
position. I missed the dirt rub by the time I grabbed the camera, but I did catch one sleeping today. They seem very relaxed on my property. Too relaxed if you ask me.

There's a young hare living on the side of my house right now.

Weird story: The back neighbour at the old house had a hare come into their backyard, it looked like it had just escaped from a predator, it laid down and promptly died.

My mother had to alter her gardening plans when she moved to Calgary (from Saskatoon). Not only due to the severe swings in weather during the winter, also because there were wild rabbits all over her neighbourhood. She gave up growing some things because they would only serve as rabbit food. Very frustrating.

I feel your pain Donna. Having them around means certain patches of soil keep being dug up and therefore are bare. That applies to my lawn as well. I guess we'll just have to share. I guess my place is just a great place to hang out for rodents!

Trap them. The Havahart traps works well. Get the model with just one door. You can often borrow them from your municipality or whatever gov't organization deals with pest control in your area.

Put a piece of apple in them. They love them some of that fruit.

Often times if they're eating everything it means that there's too many for the area. There was a lady in my neighbourhood that would toss out a pack of carrots every week for them. The population exploded, but when she moved, they got so desperate they'd even eat petunias on people's decks.
