Pink Potentilla with white flowers?

I purchased four Pink Happy Face Potentillas last Fall in Zone 6. Three were planted in the same place last Fall, while the other overwintered in its pot in a different location. The shrubs have been blooming.....white! I cannot find a reason for this. Temperatures, for the most part, have been in the 70's. The plants receive mostly afternoon sun. I would appreciate any feedback. I prefer the pink flowers!

Wonder if they were mislabeled. Other than that I don't have an answer for you.

I have "Pink Beauty" potentilla in full sun here in zone 4 and the blooms are candy pink. When the temp goes above 80, they turn a cream color... but return to pink when the temps go down again.

Thanks for your feedback! They were in glorious pink bloom when I bought them, so I don't think they are mislabeled. Hence the confusion!

I found this quote when I did a search from Proven Winners

"Happy Face® Pink Paradise - Bush Cinquefoil - Potentilla fruticosa pink color is more pronounced in cool climates"

Since you bought yours in the fall with the longer and cooler nights, it would make sense that the pink color would be more intense then than it is now.

And the red ones turn orange when it warms up, too. Generally only the yellow and the white kinds are constant.
