We are redoing a master bath and we have a vanity recessed into
a pocket at the end of the hallway (so the walls are on each side). Doing
semi-custom cabinet so have flexibility.

Two Questions - Mirrors and Lighting

Mirrors - original layout from our designer had 24 inch base
cabinets and 21" mirrors however the mirrors appeared very close to the
wall ~2". We had him add fluting to the sides of the cabinets moving
the mirrors in a bit at the expense of the drawers and shrinking frame of the
mirrors to 20" but with fluting in the frame the mirror/glass would only
be 14". It looks ok in the picture but wondering if mirror is now
too small. Don't really want one big mirror.

Lighting: Originally wanted sconces but don't have the room so
should we go with lighting over the mirror, recessed, both?
