Worms? I've never seen a worm in a fig. Where are you located? There are fig wasps that pollinate figs in some areas, but they look like ants. If you are referring to the look of the inside of the fig, the flower often has a long strandy look that could be mistaken for worms. We need a photo.

I live in southeast Georgia.The worm is a browish red color,my figs have not ripened yet so there are noworms as yet.Thank you for your quick response.
