While the root cause of Blossom End Rot is lack of calcium at fruit set there are numerous causes of that Ca. deficiency, some related to watering others to the available Ca. in the soil and more to the balance of Ca. to Magnesium. The reasons for BER are not quite as simple as watering.

That's sounds like you are watering way too often. You should water deeply and only once or twice a week. Aren't you getting any rain?

Watering is only one way that Blossom End Rot might show up. Too little soil moisture limits a plants ability to uptake and move necessary nutrients and too much soil moisture will do the same and too much soil moisture will limit the amount of air the plants roots need as well.

The best way to keep BER from occurring is to make the soil into a good healthy soil with a soil pH in the 6.2 to 6.8 range and balanced nutrient levels. A soil well endowed with organic matter that is evenly moist but well drained is good.
