Wow, I had no idea it is such a problem - pretty much standard for integrated appliances here, this one is from Miele but most manufacturers here have fully integrated fridges

Hi I want exactly what you designed for these two towers. But my cabinet maker is having hard time understanding this. Are the towers sitting in two separate cabinets with a metal piece in the middle? Where can I get the metal piece? If you don't mind explaining how to put this together, it would be amazing! Hi, one is a refrigerator unit, the other side is a pull out larder unit - it swings through 90 degrees when pulled out. It is then wrapped in end and top panels. The metal piece is part of the Hacker kitchen range, it is the channel to allow you to open the fridge. You might find metal parts on Hafele, they sell most kitchen cabinetry ironmongery etc etc. Hope this helps.
