Diseased fruit? Hardy fig not fairing well

Hey folks, sorry about the blurred pics but you should be able to see the odd looking fruit. Just got this Chicago Hardy a few weeks ago. Foliage is doing fine and new leaf and fruit are sprouting but the existing fruit is spotted (black and other colours) and I doubt they will be edible! What is happening? Thanks!
