Insect or Spider?

This thing was captured in a photo inadvertently while photographing something else and I didn't even realize it was in the pix until I was sorting through the photos. If it wasn't so interesting I would have just deleted the photo and forgot about it. Not positive if spider or insect, but sort of seems to have a head-thorax-abdomen but with such bad focus and detail I can't be positive. Could not find anything close in my spider book except a Cellar Spider but they don't hang out in swampy areas outdoors, and although legs are a close match the body is all wrong; there is also a Lampshade Weaver that has very long thin legs but they are not found in Michigan. The closest thing I could find in an insect is a Stilt Bug. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for looking.

Michigan, June, swampy wooded area, "bug" is on a plant in standing water, the plant may be either a Hop or Shallow Sedge.
