Kitchen pulls

For everything else, I've been fairly quick to make decisions and so far, I love all of my choices. But trying to pick out knobs and pulls has stumped me! And to confuse the matter further I need an appliance pull for my dishwasher and some long pulls for my tall pantry doors. Ideas of places to start looking? I've ordered a few samples but they're not in yet.

It would be helpful to know what style door/drawer you are going with, and what hardware finish you want? Oil rubbed bronze? Black? Chrome? There are many great sites, but a good starting place is Lowes or Home Depot, or any other kitchen showroom where you can view many different styles at once. You'll need to narrow down your choices because the options are, literally, endless. Also, is the style of your kitchen? Modern, transitional, traditional? That will also help you narrow your search down. Much of it just comes down to personal taste, not right versus wrong. I was a bit unorthodox in my kitchen and used knobs for my uppers and doors, cup pulls for my drawers and a more substantial handle for my pantry doors. All were special orders from the Martha Stuart Collection from Home Depot.

I would look at topknobs.com. I needed heavy duty appliance pulls for my refrigerator/freezer and they had an awesome selection. I think I had to get them through my KD, but it's worth a look!

rebeccamomof123 that's exactly the look I want! Knobs, cup pulls and then something beefier for my pantry and dishwasher. If you have any pics of how yours turned out I would love to see it. Kitchen will be traditional. The faucets are chrome and I'm leaning towards chrome pulls even though my pendant lights have some oil rubbed bronze.

This is one of my drawer fronts

This is backsplash and granite selection.

Nice doors and backsplash. Also look at myknobs.com . they are on Long Island and I've been very happy with their service. I used them when I was doing my condo in FL and my sister just used them. Of course we have the advantage of driving over to look (I'm in NY in the summer.)

beautiful choices!! BTW, our tile looks identical in color, but mine is traditional subway and yours is a BEATIFUL.. hexagon? Here is what I went with..this is the only picture I have showing all three pieces of hardware together, but the pic is a little fuzzy and the kitchen was still in development:

Here is a link to the actual hardware:

    Cup pulls

    Knobs

    Handles

Here is another pic of it all together

Thanks rebecca! I really like the look of yours. My tiles are coming from Mission Stone and Tile and the color is steel. I like the look of these but need to see how they look with my doors.

I like the second one better. The first one reads more modern to me. However, I wonder if you may need something a little softer. Your drawer/door face and tiles already have so many strong sharp angles to them. However, if you have kids, the second ones will be harder to clean after sticky fingers get in there. Mine are rounded so it's a single sweep with a damp cloth under each. Those may require a Qtip for deep cleanings to get into sticky corners. (sorry, my brain always tends to think about practicality).

Ooh that's a great point! As for kids, I have a set of triplet boys and a 4th boy so ease of cleaning is a huge consideration :)

I knew you were going to say that :( And logically I know it's the truth. I like the cup pulls that are longer and most of them are more angular. But I agree there needs to be an element of softness somewhere as I have angles everywhere else
