White is a good choice for the brick with black shutters on the windows to accent, but I would use a red front door to make the house pop from the street.

Windows are in two separate rooms and the brick is only on the front on the house (but also in the hard to see corner by garage/front door)

Leave the brick alone. Remove the shutters. Paint everything else white., including the garage door.Paint the door, storm door, and side lights a deep red. Get new landscaping along the front of the house. Get some pretty light fixtures, maybe a lamp post, and some large pots of colorful flowers!

Think about changing those two shuttered windows to single French doors and adding a patio there. You can use a pergola that runs beside the garage to the entry and also stretches across that facade to cover the patio. If you don't want a patio in front or French doors (or windows) then you can still do an entry pergola and a demi-pergola over the two windows. That would be a more interesting treatment than the two un-mated shutters. Another idea is to run a small garage pergola across the garage doors, and use an awning at the two windows. Pergolas and awnings are great ways to add personality and interest, as well as shaded/covered seating areas.

I would leave the brick alone: don't paint it. I would change out the front door and adjoining windows to give more curb appeal. Then, i would paint the rest in near-monotone shades of gray or putty. Paint out the detail on the garage door. It's very dated. Finally, paint the new front door with a high impact color of your choice.
