I am a rare lurker and I am need of info. I hope you can help. On the recommendation of a friend I am stringing up some Rattlesnake beans. I did a green manure in my beds last winter and my plants are burgeoning and my husband is SICK of beans. I have made them every which way. I have not pickled them yet. Do you bag the stringed string beans in a paper bag or hang them in from a nail. If you do what is the character of the place you hang them in. COOL DARK is hard for me to do. Does it matter? This is UN ACed Texas and my shop was designed for good light. Does anyone have experience with bean drying.
