My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

The island is a pie shape with the point cut off. It requires almost an entire slab of granite to cover. The overall dimension is 7'x4'. The dimension is established by the room size, and the length of the "L" perimeter, leaving acceptable space for people to work.

All of the doors on the seat side of the island open onto extra storage. The inside surface of the island has 3 big drawers in it with cabinet space to both sides.
