HI -- You could put the bed head where the dresser is now and put the dresser against the side wall . Then get some floating shelves for the collection that have the front lip from Ikea for the wall above the bed . Are you painting or doing new bedding and drapes ? If you are going to paint , then paint the whole room and side walls and the ceiling all one color.

thanks. I know my pictures are hard to see, but what side wall would you put the dresser on? The place where the bed is now is an alcove that fits the bed perfectly. would you still move it? I bought new bedding, I need new curtains and wasn't sure about paint..

If you put the dresser against the headboard it will blend- against the wall now it pops you could do several floating shelves above it for the collection- Pottery barn always has a selection in white or natural. Love the green!!

HI -- If the floor plan now works then keep it that way -- I can't see the whole room and maybe you could just move things around to see is the best way to know . For window coverings -- white wood blinds with white side drape panels will last a long time and with several design changes .

Cabinets or wall shelving intended for DVDs or spices could work.
