The only difference between the second and third are that I took the second picture inside under indoor light, and the third is outside with light fading.

I wondered if anyone would ask. ;)

Nice caudex on the first one! The middle flowers: are they red or purple edged? I like! Interesting that the different light exposures gives the plant different color hues. The blooms on my 31-yr-old changes colors depending on the time of day or the weather--sometimes coral hue, sometimes red hue. Congrats on your first blooms! Pink frappe is pretty!

Thank you Kadie! The middle flower is red edged. I purchased a plant last year from a local nursery, and that plant was very small, and hidden in the same pot. I didn't even see it until I went to repot them.

It tried to bloom earlier this year, but we got so much rain from the tropical storm that came through that it dropped all of it's buds.

I recently received some seeds and germinated them; half somalense, half regular obesum. I can't wait for those to get large enough to flower. They are about 4-5 days old here.

You finally did it eh! Here's your words from a post of mine on May 25: "I had planned to purchase seeds by now, but I am always concerned about who I can trust online. Soon, hopefully. I'll be cutting my tap roots as well."

Yes! I joined a small group on the plumeria forums who trade a box of goodies, and wound up getting these adenium seeds. It's really an awesome thing! I also received a baby adenium.

Very nice, I like the middle flowers and how defined the color difference is. The seedlings are great and make me want to hunt seeds down more aggressively myself, but I too share your fear of internet purchases.

Great blooms! That first one looks like it will develop a very nice caudex and root structure as it ages.
