Hi,

I've been growing veggies and flowers for awhile, but our new house has room for a small orchard and I'd like to try my hand at growing fruit trees. I don't want to overextend myself, though. What are some fruit trees that require minimal maintenance and no spraying? No care once established would be ideal, but I wouldn't mind pruning lightly once a year or thinning out the fruit.

I live in Central NJ, Z6. The location is sunny and the soil has some clay, but not that heavy red clay that I was fighting with at my old house in Bridgewater.
