Dapple willow dying

I had a beautiful dapple willow bush that needed constant trimming in it small space. So I transplanted it to a more open space last week. It looked sad n the leaves started tuennung yellow n brown. I trimmed it n watered daily. It seemed OK for a few days but now is turning brown again. I am so upset. Did I kill my beautiful bush? What do I do now? Help. Barbara
