I'm hoping this might be another good rose for warm climates

It's beautiful. Heat tolerance is such a desirable quality for so many gardens... increasingly so, it seems.

I know its not into the 90s and above and I'm hoping it will be willing to repeat at those temps. Even so, it's not going to be a spring and fall only show like lovely Kathryn Morely. Cinderella Fairy Tale and Pomponella had blooms at the same time so it was a good housewarming party for our newest Kordes shrub. Sometimes the heat just pounds us after a period of low pressure cool temps. so I'm hoping this rose can take it. The cool weather stimulates flower production and then the heat comes and fries them.

Today we had 96F with high humidity. Thank you Tropical storm Dolores. Eifelzauber didn't fry. The remaining buds are opening normally. Abe Darby is completely cooked- all 25 blooms. Not saying I don't love Abe but Eifelzauber is still in a pot unlike other roses with cool roots in the ground under thick mulch and still did not get toasted blooms.

Scratch that! Just reread your post. My Pomponella doesn't bloom very much.

Hi happy to join folks with Eifelzauber rose. I got mine from a lady in rose forum 2 years ago. Last year it struggled with deers and rabbits damage. Finally it bloomed this spring

I quite like the color and form of the bloom. Little scent I could detect

The plant is not the neat shrub and tries to climb. I think I need to stake it or train it as a climber?
