If it were me, I'd put it in the ground now (well in the evening or early morning). I'd give it some extra compost in the planting hole or even that liquid transplant shock preventer. Then make sure it has water every day. I would leave it alone after that and let it settle in. Then if you want to divide, do it in the Fall after it has bloomed.
