Yes, the bean seeds in the first photo are hyacinth beans. It is
possible that you have a bush variety, but both of the bush hyacinth
cultivars I have seen have white flowers, green pods, and green stems. Your plants are most likely just slow to put out runners... but keep us posted. A bush variety with purple pods would be a great find.

Those seeds were planted on 6/8/2015, about 5 weeks ago. They were more than 10 years old. But most of them sprouted. I received the beans, but I can't recall the color of the beans.

All the plants are in the same shape. They have put on some new growth, just very slow. I also planted Good Mother Stellard, pebble and Chinese Yard Long beans. The yard long beans are 6' tall and the Good Mother Stellard is about 4' tall.

Those beans appear started climbing. Rather slow developing. But I think they will grow rather quickly when they climb. I'll be happy to save some seeds for such old beans.
