Gorgeous work! I'm curious is there is any sub-surface under the countertop material? if not (it doesn't appear to be) I'm surprised it can span such a long / wide area and then return to the floor with enough support to keep everything together. Is the structure made from steel and then wrapped in a thin solid surface material on top/bottom?
