It's been eating my hibiscus and I am assuming it previous attacked my budleia as well

Much too small for my eyes to see.

The picture is still too small. Put two or three in a sealable plastic bag and take it to your local Cooperative Extension Service office for identification.

Well, whatever your reason is, if we are to help you, we need a better view and larger, too.

Also, we need to see the damage because it often has telltale clues.

Further, just because both the hibiscus and buddleia have been damaged, doesn't mean the same critter did it.

So please post an image of the other damaged plant, too.

i am sorry but i cant take any larger pic of the beetle,my camera wont do it, the first pic is already showing the size of the beetle being three times bigger than actual size,

Could be any number of insects ranging from slugs or snails to leaf cutter bees, a number of the larva of butterflies or moths to Flea Beetles to Japanese Beetles.

Kimmq I already know what I is, the beetle is on the pictures above, I just don't know what its called , that's what I am looking for, its name

As has been suggested, take samples to your county's Extension Service office for identification where they can look at the critter 1st hand.

do you have any type of magnifying lens around? Try putting it in front of the camera--adjusting its distance from camera, as well the camera's distance from the insect. It might give you a detailed pic. cheers
