I think a bench and a rug would be nice but be sure the door does not hit the bench when the door swings open.

I always like furniture that has a function. Do you live in a climate where guests would be doing something with shoes when they enter the house? Then go with the bench. Do you need a place to keep miscellaneous stuff until you can deal with it after a while.....sometimes for me it is a long while......then go with the table.

Also it appears there is a doorway opposite the mirror. Stand in that room and look through the door at the mirrror. Which piece seems like it fits the area best from that view. Little things like that can help unify the design.

Yes, Since this is entry way and leads into LR? Right, we should take into consideration what colors you have in LR for an entry rug and bench so the rooms flow together. I posted 2 benches and 2 rugs, did you like the 1st photo of bench? and what about the rugs.?
