This may sound like I am insulting you, but I am not. I was having a lot of problems with my Bosch dishwasher and was ready to replace it, when one day I was really bored and I read the manual that came with it. Made me realize I had been treating it like my previous dishwasher which was 25 years old when we got rid of it.

Try reading the manual. If your problems aren't helped then come back and tell us exactly what it is you hate.

Why is it so awful? You need to tell us what the problem is or ask a question if you want an answer.

here is a sample of the many repairs done by service people since purchase :

replaced parts # 24213, 242147113, 5303918568, 5304493604, 5303918578, 5303918694.

installed new gasket kit for ice maker, installed new thermostat and fan motor,

installed new rails for freezer drawer.

waterline filter busted, leaked into crisper drawer, under frig, and all over floor,

ice frozen solid, over 1 inch thick, sold air return frozen, installed new air filter seal kit, foil taped joints in air tower, which was later replaced completely, new air seal kit,

need I go on???

many service calls, emptying all contents while repairs are done, food spoiled several times.

this frig is now a second hand appliance. what will happen next?

read service manual several times. No warning of all of these events!

I have contacted Electrolux directly by phone. So far, they sent me another repairman.

You poor thing - I was watching a show on appliances interviewing repairmen and they often knew of problems with name brand appliances because they were repairing the same problems over and over - flaws that the company didn't fix. Keep bugging Electrolux, if you don't like the answer they give, ask to speak with someone higher up the ladder. I assume you didn't get extended warranty.

right. I did not get extended warranty. they should give it to me for free, I think.

I had trouble with an Electrolux franchise from whom I purchased a central vac system. But, that is another story. What I did discover is that the buck stops with Electrolux in N Carolina. If you haven't spoken to customer care there, try that.
