Living room layout help

I'm looking the buy new furniture for my 1918 brick house but the space is making it hard for me. I thought these room layouts would be help me but they really haven't so that's why I'm turning to you. There's three big windows, fireplace, a big opening, and doors. I'm open to sectional, couch(s), loveseat(s), chair(s) or really anything.

Attached is the dimensions of the living room then I also just attached the rest of the downstairs so you can which room the doors were going in or that it was the front door.

Your focal point is your fireplace. Float a seating arrangement towards that. I'm not a fan of sectionals. Separate pieces will give you a lot more decor flexibility. Get narrow profile (no curved armrests - they take up to much room) love seat or sofa and two upholstered chairs. Measure twice, buy once! Put love seat in front of fireplace and the two chairs on either side. Add round ottoman in front of love seat for beverages or a book. Due to the entrance from living room to dining room, (to improve traffic flow) you may need to pick out a chair for that spot that's even narrower still. If there's anyway you can put a pocket door at the door that goes from the living room to the hall, that may help your traffic flow as well. You have a lot of doors right there. Develop a wish list and take it with you when you go shopping. Since you have higher ceilings, take advantage of them with tall art pieces and storage units. Live with the room for a while. Don't fill up the place right away just to fill it up. Take the time to find pieces you really love.

Will there be a TV?

I was originally thinking yes to the tv but the again I have a finished third floor I could easily make into a TV space so either way would be okay with me

I thought about something like this Elaine but then I thought it would look weird with such a big space and only a few pieces. I'm going to try and "map" it out again and see what I can do. Thanks for your input.

I did a floor plan for you re your dimensions. I think I have it pretty close with stairs, doors and windows. You can change up with chairs instead of 2 sofas, but just wanted to give a starting point. I put rug in entry way 5x8 a bench on stair wall (if there is one) and an entry table. For the LR, a credenza along wall by front door, end tables and lamps and coffee table. I can give you sizes of furniture I used, but you need to measure, measure, measure for area and when you buy the furniture to make sure it is right size to fit. I used 8x10 rug in front of FP. There is pathway to DR. I did not include a TV. If there is to be one and are restrictions on where it goes, we can re-group. Hope this helps. (I know room is in different direction than you plan, but layout is the same.)

I have no idea how much seating you need but this should seat 6 comfortably.
