I need some help. After spending the Winter collecting 5 pool tables worth of slate (which is very smooth) for the front walkway of my house I realized that the slate will be slippery when wet. Is there a way to sand blast or apply another type of process to make the slate safe to walk on? I'd rather invest in finding a solution for the slate than buy a different stone as I priced flag stone for the same area and it will be at least $1500. Any ideas would be so greatly appreciated.
