This garage belongs to a house we purchased a few years ago. I've never seen one like it and was wondering if anyone else has ever seen one and how old it might be? It doesn't match the house, which was built in 1930, and may even pre-date it. These pictures show what it looked like before we replaced the shingles and added an overhead door. You can see by the side of the garage that it probably had at least one kind of wood stove in it at one time. It has a work table and built in shelves along one wall so it was likely a workshop at one point. But was that its original purpose and how old do you think it is? Guesses?
