I think the blue on the left is too dark, I would go with the lighter blue you have chosen, or even a little bit lighter/brighter than that.

I think you are on the right track. I would do the dark blue (either one) on the bottom of the wall. And paint the white on top. That way the room will be brighter but still have interest. The only other suggestion I would say is painting the upper a light medium grey and the bottom white and have your blue accents elsewhere. Either way I think it will look amazing. If that is a 7pm picture, you have good light and I love your color combinations. I would use the lighter blue on the right and put up pictures with frames on the blue wall it would look crisp and bright.

Please do not use grey in the babie's room unless it is a white with just a little gray in it. I also do not like the dark blues unless as one poster suggested to use it on the wainscoting only with a very light color above. Babie's need pure saturated color. Going with a coral or orange on top with just a touch of that color in the ceiling paint will be spectacular.

I love when a nursey is light and feels tranquil with popls of color - I thought your room would be so pretty painted Sherwin Williams Sea Salt (per color below) and then you could add your add orange and greys in your accents.

If your getting leary of the darker blue, consider orange on top that match your sheets or a lighter blue. Look at the stripe rug in miacometlady post that seams to be a good match to the colors you started with.
