My father has honeysuckle in his yard that has taken over pretty bad. I am attempting to chop it down and possibly rip out. Without tearing out the rose bushes hidden under there... But the odd thing is that the honey suckle seems to be dead underneath? The top of the bush is all green but everything else under is dry/dead leaves and sticks...these are about 4 feet tall + as well... are they dieing possibly..? Or do they just grow new stuff every season..

Also they are spider webs covering pretty much everything in the honeysuckle. With spidermites in the mix too. And whatever else might be living in there. I noticed there are daddylong legs on top, could their be other spiders deeper in the bush? We sorta like them because they kill black widows but they are infesting everything right now.
