What does the overall plant look like in size?

Very nice Dave. With the cool, rainy spring and summer in PA, I only have one blooming with a few inflos forming.

Mike: Once plants get larger they will bloom more reliably. More tips = more chance for blooms.

Cessna: I have a lot of late starting inflos and I hope there will be time for them to bloom.

Treehugger, to me the scent is very pleasant, a peach-coconut fragrance. And the flowers are thick and last a long time off the tree.

I will live vicariously through you until I get my first bloom. This is year 2 for me but I only had one back then. Up to 10 now!!! I might have to move some furniture out this Winter but who cares?

Wow! Those inflos are huge like a beautiful bouquet! That pina colada scent is the best! What a winner!

Penang Peach is always a winner. Its quite peachy fragrant to me.

I'll have to re-smell it and see if that is a closer description. To me it's sort of like Aztec Gold, but not quite as peachy.

Hi Dave! I think my sniffer is not so good. ;-( I went to re-smell again, and perhaps it is peach that I smell. I have a hard time pinpointing some of the scents. What I do know is that it smells wonderful! ;-) Please keep posting pics of your PP!

Dave, Absolutely beautiful! I am going to treasure my plant and give it a special place in my sunroom in winter so that it will bloom for me next year. Do you fertilize it with any specific fertilizer, if so how often? Keep posting..

Kandhi, you will really love it. Especially when it gets a year older.

I usually fertilize with a very weak solution regularly throughout the summer. You have to make it weak though because you don't want to burn the roots.

Some use foliar sprays. I don't have time for that. Any good balanced fert is fine. Not too high in nitrogen.

I think that if they go into winter well-fed and beefy, they seem to tolerate the long dormancy period better.

Here is Penang during hotter weather. Deeper yellow and peach tones. So many reasons to love this particular variety.

I use whatever I have on hand. Sometimes fish emulsion, sometimes all-purpose store bought fert. It's not particular. I've even used Miracle-Grow.

Please educate me. What are "inflows"?
