I know I'm always saying that I'll post pictures and I finally did (on another thread). So, just in case you missed it...this is our new floor in the dining room :)

The larger CL table (almost same wood tone) is up at my mom's, but this one will do until we bring it down next weekend.

Okay, two pictures! LOL Here's a close up of the floor. Vinyl tiles that look like parquet, but very easy to install and keep clean.

That looks really nice, and I love those chairs. Ive always wondered what your space looked like since the pictures you post are whimsical.

What a sweet space! Now you've got me wondering about the view out those windows.

Yay!! LL is finally breaking out of her bubble! :)

Your space is so charming, I just want to sit with a cup of coffee and look at the horses.

I totally love this! The floor and chairs are awesome and the only problem with the table will be rectified when you get that other one which is of a larger size. This looks so SOOOoo relaxing! There's apparently enough light coming in, and what I see of the curtains is enticing.

I love me a vinyl floor, one of these years I'm going to chisel out this ceramic tile and put in vinyl. Cushy underfoot, kind to dishes, easy to clean, so many nice patterns. Your floor looks just right with the chairs, too :)

Thank you for all the nice comments!

We're very happy with the new floor. This is just the first area...we're also going to replace the living room carpet, too.

I love these floor tiles! Very easy to use and super cheap (LOL) well, they are :)

Very pretty!!! You would have loved my grandmothers floors. Gorgeous parquet from the 50s. She kept those floors perfect!!! She used some type of wax or Waterlox.

Those floors look great. Nice and neutral. You can add any of your wonderful colors with it. Big plus, they will be so easy to keep clean! I saw the pictures of your horses, kitties, and gardens on your other thread. Beautiful!

Looks really nice & I am totally jealous of your view. Kittens & horses - throw in a few dogs & puppies and life couldn't be more perfect. You are so lucky to have your Mom with you!!!!

I just picked vinyl today for my mud room. DH had to look the other way. He wanted nothing to do with the selection.

    He hates vinyl.

    I LOVE vinyl.

All the same reasons... soft, easy care, non-stressful.

Wait until he feels the temperature of the tile he chose in the master bath. Brrr.

The floor looks nice - are you doing the kitchen with the same?

@MR - tell him if you use vinyl more places you can use the savings to add in-floor heating to the bathroom tile ;)

Great choice. I've used vinyl plenty of times and love how easy it is to keep clean.
