Leaves a Little Off-Color

One of my Key West plants, unknown what type, hasn't bloomed yet in year two, the leaves are not as glossy deep green as last year. All of the leaves are a bit off color. I use a 15-30-15 liquid fertilizer about every 2-1/2 to 3 weeks, but was wondering if feeding just a bit of 30-0-0 straight nitrogen would harm the plant to green it up?
