I have a black and white who started out as a blue merle! Curious to know if any of you with black and white's got your cat as a kitten?

This is Duke at 6 weeks old. Notice his little nose dot.

And here is a shot from April 2014; he looks the same but has gotten a bit longer and totally fills in the window ledge. The "merle" shedded off from head to toe from 3 -6 months. His tail is a massive poof. Duke weighs about 17 pounds; he's a big boy! His nose dot grew with him but it's still a dot.

Dees, that is so interesting about the color change on your kitty!! He is so cute! Since Rocket is going on 14, I don't have any baby pictures on my computer. I got him at 8 weeks and had another cat, Miss Kitty, who was 10 at the time, I think. Anyway Rocket was such a terror and aggravated Miss Kitty no end and I actually regretted getting him but that was just how it was. She passed away two years later. Rocket was raised with Murray, my dog and I think he always thought of himself as a dog. He was a holy terror as a youngster, but mellowed out with age. :) He's quite vocal and now a very loving kitty.
