Sprinkler valve seems to not be getting water

I recently noticed that one zone in my sprinkler system stopped working. After trying to turn on manually and with my control panel I replaced the valve. I tried the zone again manually and nothing! I noticed that no water is coming from the valve like my others on turn off nor do I hear any water noise. I am seeing no leaks nor has my water bill gone up so I don't think it's a leak. Any ideas?

what it sounds like is a blockage on the inbound side of the valve. I would assume the valve is seperated from the other valves of the system since no others are affected. what I suggest is taking the valve apart and flushing the lines. if that doesn't clear the trouble it may be necessary to probe or dig up the line back to the blockage.
