Do not puddle the drapes though. It looks like since you have a studio you will want to go with room darkening type window coverings. Use the wooden blinds under ones you can see through. Check with Ikea they have room darkening & they sell by the pair not by the panel as most stores do. Install them below the ceiling down to the floor.

Please don't put a light over the sofa - that's not very flattering for most people. Put a large lamp or wall sconce in each corner. Your lighting choices will make a huge difference in your rooms atmosphere.

I think the studio has a lot of potential. I would suggest starting with a rug you like that includes the warm beige of the sofa, the gray of the floor, the cream of the walls, and another accent color that contrasts your sofa (such as slate blue). You can then use one or more of those same colors for your curtains, sofa pillows, bedding, and other decor. Since most of your lighting appears to be in the ceiling, I would also suggest you get lower-level lighting such as sofa end tables and nightstands with lamps. That will make a significant difference in the place feeling cozier and will add functionality for reading, etc. To give the bed a little visual separation, I would try placing it in the far right corner near the window and adding a couple of standing bamboo screens near it to create some visual separation from the rest of the living space. If that placement works, it would also free up another area for daytime use (dining area, office area, etc.)

Go with a large shag rug. Fluffy to counter the tiles.

Agree on the fluffy rug. Better for the acoustics too.

Studio living is all about function and space and good use of the natural light!

Look at the position of your TV/Sofa, can this be moved to the right of the Bed which is at the rear, to create a "living area' thats not directly in front of the bed?

Lighting is also important, especially natural light. As you have 3 main windows I would advise either Roller blinds or Linen fabric, natural colour, in Roman blinds, this gives maximum light and a contemporary look.

You need at least 3 lamps in this area, (not seeing the ceiling fixture?), a ceiling light over your dining table will be offset? Keep to lamps.

A rug at least 2mtrs x 3mtrs, in a natural Rattan (Ikea and Pottery Barn have these!) Placed to the front edge of your TV unit with sofa placed on it. This defines your living space.

I would (Budget pending) make a real feature of the TV wall with wallpaper. A decorative picture maybe over the bed. The mirror needs to be hung, do you have wardrobes in this studio? If so silicon the mirrored glass to the rear of the open wardrobe door.

In addition your studio needs to feel like a home, not just a space, accessories, cushions all would transform this space.
