Can these be used either on the wall or floor of a shower?

We're thinking of redoing our bathroom. I'd like to put tiles up on the wall (like a picture) or framed on the floor. Would these work?

On the walls but we don't recommend on the floor.

Can these be used in an exterior, covered space, like on a wall next to a door? We do get the four seasons here so I have to ask if they're meant only for interior applications.
