Hello Everyone,

I just posted earlier this afternoon about a leaf problem when someone pointed out to me it could be thrips or spider mites. They instructed me to look at the leaves to see if I could find any. I found some insects at the base of the leaves as well as some crawling on the papery layers of my bulb. I pealed back the layers on my bulb so they would no longer have a place to hide and my amaryllis could get better. At the end of pealing I saw this read blotching on the bulb. So, is this still my insect problem or is it worse and possibly red blotch?

How do I proceed now?
