I am not so concerned about the red as I am about just buying a sectional. Would love to have photos of the room. A Sectional will most likely be the biggest piece of furniture in the room and when it is such a vibrate color it will dominate. I love red and actually have it in my living room, but in smaller doses. You can certainly accessorize with lots of colors, grey, white, cream, black, yellow even orange with the right pieces and style. Again would love to see room and photo of sofa you are considering.

I like bold choices but I would say that sectionals and large red furniture pieces can be more limiting when establishing the layout and color scheme. I think it would be ideal to wait until you are in the space when you can get a better feel for the the layout and colors. You may ultimately decide on a neutral sofa that is accented with red in throw pillows.

If you have your heart set on the sectional (it is beautiful) then at least get me room dimensions if possible and we'll do a floor plan to make sure it will accommodate the piece. I can not recommend buying a large piece that like until I see the space.
